What Price Were You Bought At

“But I will deliver you in that day,” says the Lord, “and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid. For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword; but your life shall be as a prize to you, because you have put your trust in Me,” says the Lord… Jeremiah says, “And now look, I free you this day from the chains that were on your hand.” Jeremiah 39:17 and 40:4

There are few things God have been showing me. One was the value that He sees us in. And the second is how much He wants to be with us and in us.

The value that He sees in us is were I’m going to start at. The parable of the man that sold everything for treasure.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid: and for joy over it he goes and sells all the he has and buys that field. Matthew 13:44

People sell everything for money to buy valuable treasure, Jesus currency was His blood. Selling or giving everything is a sacrifice.

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

The second is how Jesus paid a great price to dwell in the fields of the hearts of His people. He just didn’t want the treasure, He wanted everything that came with it.

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain IN you, and that your joy may be full. John 15:11

You don’t have to pay Him back for what He has paid for you at. That what grace is for. Giving to a one that doesn’t desire or can’t pay back. It was at such a value that all money on this earth can’t pay for.

Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. Isaiah 55:1
